
From December 2003 till May 2005, the BEF is implementing the project "Experience exchange on habitat management among Baltic LIFE-Nature projects".
The main objective of the project is to promote the quality of management and implementation of LIFE-Nature projects dealing with management of Natura 2000 sites through co-operation and exchange of experience among the existing and prospective project implementers in Baltic countries.
The main actions of the project are workshop program and final publication.
The workshops will be organised on three topics:
The main target group of the seminar will be managers and experts of currently implemented and prospective Life projects in Baltic countries.
The publication will aim to evaluate the experience of the Baltic LIFE-Nature projects dealing with habitat management, to draw conclusions and elaborating recommendations for the future projects to be prepared on management of habitats of the Community importance. The publication will include the results and findings of the final workshop organised within the project.
