Important environmental dates in March

The first month of spring not only brings the awakening of nature, light and new inspiration, but also several important dates highlighting an importance of environmental protection.

March 22 – World Water Day. The theme of World Water Day 2025 is ‘Glacier Preservation’. March 22, at 20:30 (local time) – Earth Hour. For 2025, individuals, schools, businesses and communities across Australia and around the world will come together and raise critical funds to support a healthy future for people and nature. More information: https://www.earthhour.org.au/

March 30International Day of Zero Waste. This year’s theme, towards zero waste in fashion and textiles, focuses on the urgent need to take action to reduce the waste impact from the fashion and textile sector and promote sustainability and circularity.
