“Baltic Sea Mobility Conference 2020” will take place online from September 8-10.
Three strong INTERREG mobility projects have come together and joined forces – SUMBA, BSR electric and Cities.multimodal – will participate in a joint event where mobility and sustainable transport planning experts and stakeholders will discuss current and future mobility opportunities, challenges and solutions.
Due to the international format, the working language of the conference is English.
We will share experiences in how these various mobility projects use the emerging sustainable mobility framework and future technologies, the role of active interaction between public administrations and local communities, mobility service providers and everyday users, businesses, NGOs and other stakeholders in building sustainable mobility in the region and achieving climate goals.
Within the framework of the conference, we will encourage intriguing discussions on the future perspectives of sustainable urban and suburban mobility in the Baltic Sea Region, innovative solutions, examples of good practice and other issues.
There will also be an opportunity to go on virtual excursions to the project pilot areas.
