At European level, the LIFE programme has a long and rich history of conservation success stories. Recently published brochure “Bringing nature back through LIFE” (10.2020) offers a comprehensive overview of LIFE projects that have had the greatest positive impacts. It also shows how the LIFE programme works in coordination with the Natura 2000 network – the world’s largest coordinated network of legally protected areas.
